It seems that Miley Cyrus' fans have to wait a little longer to watch her next movie "The Last Song". On Wednesday, September 23, a representative for the actress and a statement from Disney have confirmed the film, which was originally set to be released on January 8, 2010, has been pushed back for about three months. "The date is now April 2," the rep said. "We found a better release date than January for it. It will open Easter weekend/spring break."
Previously, Miley has given a sneak peek at her upcoming movie by presenting the audience at shows on her Wonder World tour with a preview clip. Talking about filming the movie, the 16-year-old star stated, "I changed a lot when I was in Tybee Island. I feel like art really does imitate life." She then added, "I feel like I'm really showing a part of my growth as a person as well.
