- Otto Moldenhauer was born on August 30, 1882 in Bornstedt, Potsdam, Germany. He was an art director and production designer, known for D III 88 (1939), Der Schimmelkrieg in der Holledau (1937) and Unter der Laterne (1928). He died on April 27, 1969 in Berlin, Germany.
- He worked frequently on the director Gerhard Lamprecht's films.
- Otto Moldenhauer continued his career as a production designer in the sound film era of the 30s and he was engaged for feature movies as well as short movies.
