- In 1979 happened a momentous incident when Gunnar Möller killed his wife, the actress Brigitte Rau with a stool during a divorce brawl. He was sentenced to prison for five years because of second-degree murder but was already released on probation in 1981.
- The actor Gunnar Möller already drew the audience's attention to him as a child actor when he took part in several movies during World War II.
- He was able to continue his film career and took part in "Im Zeichen des Kreuzes" (1983), "Die Nacht der vier Monde" (1984), but especially the theater represented the centre of his creativity.
