President Joe Biden’s granddaughter, Naomi Biden, the daughter of Hunter Biden, confronted Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) on Wednesday when she accused the lawmaker of spreading misinformation when her father appeared at a House hearing.
Hunter made an unexpected appearance at a House Oversight and Accountability Committee markup on Wednesday, where the committee proceeded to move forward with a resolution to hold him in contempt of Congress for when he allegedly defied a subpoena issued in December. Tensions flared upon Hunter’s presence, as he briefly remained in the room while Republicans and Democrats engaged in heated exchanges before he departed with his entourage while Greene was mid-speech.
This prompted Greene to later post on X, “Wow – Hunter Biden fled the scene when I started exposing the truth behind the Biden Crime Family. Too bad his daddy can’t save him this time. We have mountains of evidence of...

A Secret Service agent who was assigned to protect Naomi Biden, President Joe Biden’s granddaughter, fired his gun several times during an attempted car break-in.
Three people were spotted by the agent at 11:58 p.m. on Sunday in Georgetown when they smashed the window, but it seems that none were hit.
It is unsure whether these people knew that the car belonged to Naomi’s agents and no arrests have been made.
The Secret Service agent was walking outside in the neighborhood when they saw the crime occur. After the shots were fired, the three people immediately fled the scene in a red vehicle. It is believed that Naomi did not witness the incident.
There is currently a regional lookout for the perpetrators and an investigation is being conducted by the Secret Service and the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department.

After the lackluster reception of Inferno, the second entry in his supernaturally inclined Three Mothers trilogy, Dario Argento pivoted back to the giallo genre that he’d helped put on the world-cinema map with the release of The Bird with the Crystal Plumage back in 1970. Not content to merely “return to form,” and plagued by some personal demons of his own, Argento unleashed the supreme meta-giallo Tenebrae, an endlessly reflexive murder mystery about the solving of murder mysteries.
The notion that Tenebrae is primarily concerned with the conditions of its own making is signaled straight away. The first thing we see is a copy of a book also called Tenebrae. A voiceover narrator declaims a passage that describes murder as a liberating, creative act. What’s more, the scene introduces two of the most elemental bits of giallo iconography: the black gloves worn by the killer and a shiny cutthroat razor.

After helping to pioneer Italy’s budding giallo genre throughout the 1970s with influential titles like The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, The Cat o’ Nine Tails, Four Flies on Grey Velvet, and Deep Red, Dario Argento took a brief sabbatical from the lurid thrillers to explore supernatural elements in Suspiria and Inferno. When the latter failed at the box office, he made a triumphant return to gialli in 1982 with Tenebrae (sometimes spelled Tenebre; originally released in the US as Unsane).
While his American contemporaries were trying to come up with inventive instruments of death to propel slasher films, Argento was designing more lavish ways to film his kill scenes. Suspiria remains his crowning achievement, but Tenebrae finds the filmmaker bringing his honed visual panache to the giallo sandbox in which he made a name for himself. The result stands not only as one of Argento’s strongest efforts but also a landmark giallo work.

The White House was the site of a gorgeous wedding over the weekend as President Joe Biden’s granddaughter Naomi Biden married her fiancée Peter Neal. Naomi is the eldest daughter of Hunter Biden, whom he had with his first wife Kathleen Buhle.
Hunter and Kathleen were present for the ceremony as well as the President and First Lady Jill Biden. Both of Naomi’s parents walked her down the aisle, and Naomi wore a gorgeous gown and veil designed by Ralph Lauren for the ceremony.
It was a bit of a chilly morning as guests first arrived at the South Lawn around 11 a.m. on Saturday, and guests were provided with blankets and shawls while they waited. Elements of the wedding program included a vocal performance by the father of the groom: Dr. William Neal, and a reading of the E.E. Cummings poem “I Carry Your Heart With Me.

It has been nearly a full year since Naomi Biden first got engaged to her longtime partner Peter Neal, and her White House wedding is now nearly upon us! Naomi is the oldest granddaughter of President Joe Biden, and the daughter of his son Hunter Biden.
They will be tying the not on November 19, and Biden has reportedly hired Bryan Rafanelli to manage the wedding. Rafanelli is a well-known Democratic event and fundraiser planner who also planned Chelsea Clinton’s wedding to Marc Mezvinsky in 2010.
More recently, Rafanelli also planned fundraising parties while Pete Buttigieg was running for President in 2020, and has done other jobs for local governments, including doing a review of Boston’s tourism office at the request of Labor Secretary Marty Walsh.

Flatliners 4K
Some Lines Shouldn’T Be Crossed.
Known for his impressively eclectic filmography and for helping to launch the careers of several young Hollywood stars of the 80s and 90s, Joel Schumacher tackles the existential question that, at one time or another, haunts us all: what awaits us after we die?

A thriller writer goes on the hunt for a killer who claims to be taking inspiration from his latest book.

Following the recent release of Argento’s debut film The Bird with the Cystal Plumage, Arrow Video’s next HD Argento instalment is his 1982 return to gialli, Tenebrae.
Italian cinema has been dominated over many decades by waves of popular genres and producers, screenwriters, directors et al have always been quick to the jump on the latest and most popular genre and flog it until it is all but dead. With the release of The Bird with the Crystal Plumage in 1970 Argento built on a solid raft of Italian horrors, mostly those directed by Mario Bava, and created a new singular vision of giallo cinema. This led to a lot of imitators, some good, some utterly dreadful but a lot of them nonetheless.
Argento was reportedly not too pleased about this and began to move in different directions with his films, opting to work in areas altogether more supernatural. With...

London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts recently hosted a murderous double bill to celebrate the imminent Blu-Ray release of 2009’s postmodern Giallo homage Amer, directed by real world couple Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani, both of whom were on hand to provide an insightful Q&A session after the screening, alongside a rare projection of the 1982 genre classic Tenebrae, one of the macabre maestro Dario Argento’s finest and most beloved entries to this blood spattered school of mystery and violence. Hosted by Frightfest guru Alan Jones, one of the world’s leading authorities on that Italian sub-genre so beloved of the horror connoisseur, the event illustrated the compelling and competing factors of the Giallo movie, illustrating how it oscillates from the sublime to the ridiculous. Though it may invite a bloody homicide from the rabid fans of the Grand Guignol, one might well assert that the black-gloved little bastard...

When the guys asked me if I'd like to work on a Dario Argento piece I jumped at it. I was only 20 years old when I was able to get a hold of a Dario Argento flick. It was purchased out of state by my girlfriend for me on my birthday; needless to say it was the best birthday ever. The movie in question was none other than Profondo Rosso (a.k.a. Deep Red). That is the movie that changed my life...
Italian director Argento has a way with art and colorful imagery that tingles the senses in so many ways that even a person who is Not a fan of the genre could appreciate his films. I remember directly after watching Profondo Rosso going out and buying as many Argento flicks that I could find in the area. With some steaks on the grill and some good beer...
