Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Nancy graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin with a B.A. in Communications and an English minor.
Living in Los Angeles for over a decade, Nancy's writing abilities consistently drew the attention of the Hollywood community. Two of her scripts, Alien Species and The Killer Inside (aka Obsession Kills) were quickly optioned and produced. Continuing to create her own projects (for Film and TV), Nancy, additionally, worked as a writer-for-hire and script doctor - and had dealings with Paramount, Parkway Productions, Ixtlan Studios and Raleigh Studios.
A death in the family brought Nancy back to Wisconsin where she was hired as a Writer/Producer at EAA in Oshkosh, WI. One of the largest aviation organizations in the world, EAA's clients included The History Channel, Discovery, ESPN and Speedvision. Among her numerous projects, Nancy wrote and produced the pilot for Discovery's "Learning to Fly" series and oversaw all production of EAA's annual "AirVenture" magazine-style programs (2000/2001). While at EAA, she earned three Telly Award nominations - one for "Lindbergh: Flying the Spirit" (2002).
Presently, Nancy is a staff writer for NTD Media providing narrative for both their Emmy nominated DineOut Along the Road and new series Beyond the Harvest. Along with a co-writer, she is also in negotiations with an Australian producer to obtain funds for two TV series: a dramedy and apocalyptic dystopian project for the Australian market. In addition, Nancy keeps busy writing and marketing her own screenplays, including her sci-fi comedy and optioned coming-of-age script Sing Me A Song.
