- Michael Obiora (pronounced OH-BEE-ORA) is an actor, writer, producer, and director. Having started out as a child in Grange Hill, he made the rare transition into adult star with leading stage and television roles in shows including My Family, Sea of Souls, Misfits, and Afterlife. He is most recognizable for his portrayal of Ben Trueman in the BBC smash hit Hotel Babylon, and for his roles in Casualty, Fortitude, Luther, Tomb Raider, Doctor Who: Blink, the television series remake of Guy Ritchie's Snatch, and the prequel series to Jonathan Glazer's classic crime movie Sexy Beast.
Michael made his directorial debut with the award-winning Soaperstar, which was selected for screening at the Academy Award® qualifying Pan African Film Festival.

- Michael was cast as "Ben Trueman" in the BBC1 smash hit comedy Hotel Babylon during the seven-month run of Elmina's Kitchen. In the first series he would film during the day and a car would drop him to the theatre to perform in the evenings.
