Met Cevin Key in Vancouver in 1982 and Skinny Puppy was formed the
following year. Started working with Al Jourgensen in 1987. Toured with
Ministry & Revolting Cocks until 1990. Quit Skinny Puppy, June 12,
1995. Mainly worked with Mark Walk after Skinny Puppy's breakup.
Released 'Welt' under OhGr name on Spitfire Records in 2001. Also
worked with KMFDM & Pigface. Reformed Skinny Puppy with Cevin Key in
2005. Performed in Repo: The Genetic Opera and The Devil's Carnival.
He has appeared in three movies with his friend, Bill Moseley: Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Devil's Carnival, and 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams.
In the movie RoboCop (1987), the song "Show Me Your Spine" by P.T.P. is
playing in the club when RoboCop arrests Leon. This song, which
features his vocals, was never released until 2004, when the song was
on Ministry's 'Side Trax'.
His first name as a member of Skinny Puppy, Nivek, is "Kevin" spelled
backwards.
