- Edward E. Paramore Jr. was born on September 17, 1895 in Manchester, Massachusetts, USA. He was a writer, known for Master of Men (1933), Only the Brave (1930) and Three Comrades (1938). He died on May 1, 1956 in Shreveport, Louisiana, USA.
- F .Scott Fitzgerald's collaborator on the script of "Three Comrades," the only screenplay for which Fitzgerald ever received screen credit. Fitzgerald had based an unsympathetic character on Paramore in his novel "The Beautiful and the Damned." The two men had a tumultuous relationship when Fitzgerald was forced to work with Paramore at MGM in the 1930s.
