- Sofocles Peppas was born on October 11, 1948 in Athens, Greece. He was an actor, known for I skoni pou peftei (2004), O thisavros tis Angelinas (2005) and I aithousa tou thronou (1998). He died on March 25, 2012 in Athens, Greece.
- Won the 'Aimilios Veakis Theatre Award' of the Study and Research Center of Greek Theater-Theatrical Museum for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance as Anton Chekhov's "Uncle Vanya" in 2008.
- Performed the role of "Ghost of Darius" in "The Persians" by Aeschylus in two different productions. The first one was at the National Theater of Greece in 1999, directed by Lefteris Voyatzis. The second one was in 2008, at the Municipal and Regional Theater of Larissa, Greece.
- Also an acting teacher and stage director.
