"Grimm" returns for its second season tonight (Aug. 13) with a strong premiere that will should immediately hook you -- even if you've never seen NBC's fairy-tale procedural before.
"Bad Teeth" begins with a Season 1 recap that is thorough enough to get new viewers up to speed but so well produced that even original "Grimm" audiences will be captivated.
Here are some other highlights:
David Giuntoli: Dude is not only hot but he's showing off some serious acting chops. Not that he wasn't capable before, but this season calls on him to go deep -- and he delivers. It's hard to believe he got his showbiz start on MTV's "Road Rules."
Mommy Dearest: After believing her dead for 18 years, Nick must cope with his mother's (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) shocking return. On a professional level -- fighting their common enemies -- they are a dynamic duo, but their personal relationship is rocky.

You can send any/all of the above to ausielloscoop@ew.com Question: There's speculation that Izzie cheats on Alex on Grey's Anatomy. Is it true? —Molly Ausiello: No, but the newlyweds will be dealt a major blow at the end of next week's episode (the best of the season, Imho). In fact, the crisis is so big that Izzie disappears for roughly five non-consecutive episodes. Btw, even though I knew Katherine Heigl's mini-hiatus was coming, Izzie's exit was no less powerful or emotional.
