- She currently (2004) lives in Amsterdam.
- She has two brothers: Jean and Maurice.
- She stopped acting and started working as cook. As a cook in various Amsterdam restaurants, she cooked the stars from heaven. By 2022, she had picked up acting again.
- "When roles stopped coming overnight, I started to doubt myself immensely. It left me with a strange longing for the past rather than the future. I was suddenly dissatisfied with my life. It seemed impossible to find something again that would give me so much satisfaction and pleasure. I felt like I had failed profoundly. My career as an actress ended prematurely. Having children was also not possible. In short, I was one big failure", she looked back on that period without acting opportunities.
- In 1989 she went to the Theater School in Amsterdam, where she graduated in 1994.
- After obtaining her MAVO diploma at Isendoorn College, she obtained a HAVO diploma at the Stedelijk Lyceum Zutphen and Pierie went on to study at the Toneelschool Maastricht. She lasted there for a year.
- Her father was of Indian descent.
- In 1993 she appeared on stage in Het huis van Belinda (Director: Helmert Woudenberg) and De Presidentes (1993) (Director: Theu Boermans).
- After the discontinuation of the series Rozengeur & Vodka Lime in 2006, Pierie says she was hardly cast for roles because she thought she was too old.
- On television she is best known for her role as Ellen Meinen in the drama series Westenwind (1999-2003) and as Babette van Woensel in Rozengeur & Wodka Lime (2001-2006).
- Pierie embraced another passion: cooking. She has worked in the hospitality industry all her life, but followed a professional chef training in 2015, after which she started working part-time in restaurants . She was, among other things, sous-chef at De Plantage in Amsterdam.
- She was also active as a drama coach at ZOOP and Van Jonge Leu en Oale Groond, among others.
- In Circus Bronbeek, a play about an Indisch family and the after-effects of the war, she played together with Patrick Neumann, with whom she would later marry.
- In recent years, casting agencies had increasingly managed to find her. She said about this in the newspaper Het Parool in 2021: "For some reason I ended up in the right card box again. I didn't do anything for it, I don't understand why.".
- After graduating, she was cast in the second season of Coverstory and found out that she enjoyed acting on camera more than on stage.
