- Retired computer programmer who became famous for a time in the 1960s as one of the top dancers/dance teachers on the New York City disco scene and dance master to the "Beautiful People" of the era. His main venue was the Peppermint Lounge, and among his students were the Duchess of Windsor (Wallis Warfield Simpson) and Jacqueline Kennedy. During the 1970s and early 1980s, although no longer the mega-celebrity he once was, he still remained a much-respected regular at the various New York discos until his death in 1983 at the age of 70.
