There are plenty of reasons to love "The Twilight Zone," but a fun one is the way it lets us see so many famous actors before they became household names. Before Carol Burnett had her own variety show, she starred in the 1962 episode "Cavender is Coming." Before Leonard Nimoy got to be in "Star Trek," he was a throwaway soldier in the 1961 episode "A Quality of Mercy." Then there's Elizabeth Montgomery, best known for her role in the 1960s sitcom "Bewitched." Before she played the good witch Samantha Stephens, however, she played a stoic, unnamed woman in the season 3 premiere of "The Twilight Zone."
The 1961 episode is called "Two," and it starts off with Montgomery's character wandering through an abandoned war-torn town. It's been years since the war ended, resulting in total destruction on both sides. When she meets a mysterious man with the opposing army's uniform (Charles Bronson...

Madonna is stumping for Hillary Clinton – and using her music to do so!
The singer held an impromptu performance at New York City’s Washington Square Park on Monday night, just one day before the election. Madonna, who first announced the intimate acoustic concert on social media Friday, was surrounded by hundreds of fans as she strummed her guitar next to 11-year-old son David and her guitarist Monte Pittman.
During the 30-minute gig, the 58-year-old Madge sung her hits like “Like a Prayer,” “Don’t Tell Me,” “Express Yourself” and “Rebel Heart” along with an emotional cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine.

Even if you haven't Monte Pittman's name, chances are pretty good you've heard his music, as his mighty axe has swung through dozens of hit albums. He's played on nearly all of Madonna's records and tours since 2001, he co-wrote several songs on Prong's acclaimed albums Scorpio Rising and Power of the Damager, and his solo project Pain, Love & Destiny scored high on the charts, nabbing him several awards and nominations of his own. After spending many successful years in the indie rock and pop arena, Pittman has finally returned to his metal roots with the follow-up release The Power of Three – a dark and heavy project that finds him teaming up with another metal legend: Grammy-winning producer Flemming Rasmussen, best known for his contributions to Metallica's ...And Justice for All and Master of Puppets. The result is a feast of death, darkness and anguish that's unlike anything the artist has dished up before.

Trespassing – The title track was co-written with Grammy Award winning Pharrell Williams,[98] while the album’s lead single, “Better Than I Know Myself”, a collaboration with Dr. Luke and Claude Kelly, was released on December 20, 2011 to all digital retailers. His debut live performance of the single on January 17, 2012 on the The Tonight Show with Jay Leno received overwhelmingly positive reviews, focusing on Lambert’s soaring and impeccable vocals on this melodically challenging song, as well as his more stripped down and sophisticated look.

With the entire original run of The Twilight Zone available to watch instantly, we’re partnering with Twitch Film to cover all of the show’s 156 episodes. Are you brave enough to watch them all with us? The Twilight Zone (Episode #88): “The Last Rites of Jeff Myrtlebank” (airdate 2/23/62) The Plot: A young man wakes up in the middle of his own funeral, but instead of celebrating, his friends and neighbors believe he might be something more human than human. The Goods: For all its quaintness, this story runs a lot deeper than its gap-toothed smile pretends. It begins with Jeff Myrtlebank (James Best) being laid to rest in a country chapel, the pews filled with his family, neighbors, and bride-to-be Comfort Gatewood (Sherry Jackson). At the fever pitch of the pastor’s eulogy, Jeff sits bolt upright in his coffin and scares the potato salad out of everyone. At first, everyone...

Last night’s premiere of E! True Hollywood Story: Adam Lambert wasn’t exactly bursting with new information about the American Idol season 8 runner-up/glittery, octave-scaling entertainer. But it did have its share of entertaining moments. My personal top 10:
10. Neil Lambert recounting that growing up, his now-famous older brother’s giant costume box meant Halloween “could happen any time of year.”
9. Footage of Adam in his Zodiac Show days, dressed in feathery regalia and sporting bright blue hair, belting “A Change Is Gonna Come.” I suspect anyone who saw that performance live and in-person wasn’t terribly surprised when...

"Who is this guy?" asked an usher. "Was he on television or something? It's strange. If you look at this audience, it's filled with people of all ages. I've never in all my life seen such a diverse age-range come out to see one man." Meet Adam Lambert, sir. If you had been among the few who showed up for the "On The Waterfront" festival in Rockford, Il last Saturday wondering what all the buzz was about, you would have been quickly enlightened by eager fans willing to explain the whole thing. Arriving hours before the show with their fully charged camera phones and trusty lawn chairs in tow, these folks were, are, and always will be loyal ambassadors to The Glam Nation. Those fortunate enough to get an assigned seat (they sold out faster than any other artist in history to perform at this annual festival) had a fairly good view of the stage.

Six months after dropping his debut album, Adam Lambert is planning to follow up For Your Entertainment with a remix Ep in April. On a recent Ustream chat with fans, the singer revealed that he's prepping a mini album release for April 14 that will feature a number of tracks from his first album.
While also dispensing some fashion advice — "Ladies, careful with that blue eye shadow ... it's tricky" — Lambert said he will be returning to the "American Idol" stage in April, though he didn't reveal the exact date. Lambert's appearance would round out the return of last season's top five, following on the heels of performances by winner Kris Allen, third-place finisher Danny Gokey, fourth-place finalist Allison Iraheta and fifth-placer Matt Giraud.

New York — The "American Idol" stars aligned Friday night (February 12), as Allison Iraheta, Adam Lambert and Kris Allen took the stage for an exclusive live event.
Ryan Seacrest's "Rock My Town" concert brought out hundreds of lucky ticket winners, all of whom braved the cold for hours to make sure they got the best possible spot in the intimate Highline Ballroom.
Performing in the order in which they were eliminated during the eighth season of "Idol," fiery-haired Allison Iraheta rocked out first in a dizzying set that showed off her raspy pipes and her criminally overlooked pop/rock songs.
Iraheta — in two punky pigtails and a black-and-white rocker-chic dress — and her enthusiastic four-piece band ripped through fan favorites like "Holiday,...

Adam Lambert swears his involvement with On With the Show, the album of songs he recorded before he rose to "American Idol" fame, was strictly limited to being "hired as a studio singer to lend my vocals to tracks written by someone else." New documents may prove that claim to be wrong.
On Thursday (June 25), TMZ published a memo sent from the Music Publishing Company of America to Hi Fi Recordings President John Hecker that lists Lambert as the co-writer of nine of the 11 songs from On With the Show.
According to the memo, Lambert co-wrote the majority of the songs with Madonna guitarist Monte Pittman (one track, "Kiss and Tell," was co-written by him and electronic musician Kiril Dzajkovski) and would receive...

During his nearly flawless run on "American Idol," Adam Lambert seemed unshakably confident. The San Diego native was so comfortable onstage that even the rare negative comment from the judges seemed to bounce off his glittery armor without leaving a scratch.
But, like just about anybody, that confidence was tested when he met Madonna. In his interview for the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, Lambert describes how his "Idol" trip has resulted in so many of his wildest dreams coming true. "Everything that I always thought was a fantasy is actually happening," he said. "And it's a testament to imagination and doing whatever the f--- comes to my mind."

If you live in Tucson you are Far luckier than I. Firstly, James Zahn can’t drive to your home and torture you with images of Vicki from Small Wonder. Let me tell ya, that‘s a fuckin‘ nightmare unto itself. Secondly, the weather is a great deal better than my home in Miserable, Missouri (population 60k meth-heads and 1 large-mouthed asshole that writes about stuff), and third, you’re first in line for the sonic assault of Prong’s new tour. That’s right, Prong is back with a new album, and is going on the road for the ‘Worst of the Worst‘ tour. The first show is slated for May 9th at the Suicidal Metalfest in Tucson, with a follow up on the 10th in a local club whose name I have yet to find. Then, Tommy Victor and company are off to a twenty-five city tour in Europe.
