With writer/director Declan O’Brien’s Joy Ride 3: Road Kill releasing to DVD and Blu-ray this Tuesday, June 17th, here’s additional coverage stemming from our set visit last summer to the same in Winnipeg, Canada.
Written and directed by O'Brien, whose previous horror entries include the Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment features Wrong Turn 3, Wrong Turn 4 and Wrong Turn 5 (as well as Syfy's Sharktopus), Joy Ride 3: Road Kill (review) originated with the 2001 Paul Walker-starring, J.J. Abrams-co-scripted film Joy Ride.
Produced by Kim Todd, this installment (which melds the worlds of tuner car racing and road-trip horror) stars Ken Kirzinger (Freddy vs. Jason) as the project's villainous truck driver 'Rusty Nail.’
Joining him are Kirsten Prout (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) as tuner-car girl ‘Jewel McCaul,’ Jesse Hutch (Freddy vs. Jason) as racer ‘Jordan Wells,’ Benjamin Hollingsworth (of the television series “Cult”) as mechanic ‘Mickey Cole,...

Writer/director Declan O'Brien's 'Joy Ride 3: Road Kill' is now available on VOD and will shortly be arriving on both DVD and Blu-ray. And Shock Till Your Drop have managed to score a trio of new and exclusive stills from the movie which sees the murderous trucker Rusty Nail back on the road and doing what he does best...knocking off unsupecting young drivers. I can't imagine when it lands here in the UK it'll have the same title as the 'Joy Ride' franchise itself is already known here as 'Roadkill', so deal with that marketing pros. The threequel stars Kirsten Prout, Dean Armstrong, Ben Hollingsworth, Jesse Hutch, Gianpaolo Venuta, Leela Savasta, Sara Mitich, J. Adam Brown and Jake Manley. Head below for the new images....

Everyone knows that the time restraints involved with filmmaking don.t allow for truly topical subjects to be depicted at the height of their popularity. Cheaper TV movies are better at doing that sort of thing. But while the upcoming independent feature Offline centers on subject matter that isn.t necessarily on the forefront of everyone.s minds, it will put a narrative spin on it, and could end up being relevant itself for quite a number of years. The film will highlight one of the downsides of social media, and Variety reports its cast will include Chloe Bridges (The Carrie Diaries), Kirsten Prout (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse), and Daryl Hannah, who hasn.t really made a movie worth mentioning since Tarantino.s Kill Bill Vol. 2 in 2004. The story centers on a top student (Prout) who sees her life get turned upside down when inappropriate photographs of her start appearing...

NCIS, Season 10, Episode 8: “Gone”
Written by Reed Steiner and Scott Williams
Directed by James Whitmore, Jr.
Airs Tuesdays at 8pm (Et) on CBS
When season ten was still shrouded in mystery, a fresh new year waiting to arrive, there was plenty of hopeful speculation concerning possible stories that might unfold throughout the upcoming episodes. One popular hypothetical was the pairing of Abby and Ziva in an undercover mission. While they aren’t technically undercover, Abby and Ziva come the closest to a professional partnership that they will likely ever get for the remainder of the season.
Ziva takes it upon herself to act as a surrogate to Lydia Wade (Kirsten Prout), a teenage girl whose father was murdered during the kidnapping of her best friend, Rosie. Abby and Ziva both work with Lydia to help her identify the men responsible. Where Cote de Pablo’s performance lacked an emotional...

TV's #1 drama has big things in store for Ziva and Tony ... and for Ziva and Abby.
We know. Didn't see that coming, did you? Let's start with the latter pairing first.
Cote de Pablo tells TV Line that "Gone" features her character and Pauley Perrette's forensic wiz like never before: “It’s the first time they actually put those two characters together in an episode just about them.”
The abduction of a girl whose friend Lydia (guest Kirsten Prout) witnessed the kidnapping is the impetus for the dynamic duo being paired up, and it sounds like we can expect them to rally around the youngster.
"They get Abby outside the lab, we’re in Gibbs’ house ... It was fun working that dynamic with Pauley [Perrette] ... We need to keep her protected, and as we do there’s bonding between the three women."
Elsewhere, tomorrow night’s episode again finds Tony...

This Tuesday at 8/7c, television’s most watched drama – CBS’ NCIS – will at long last bring together two of Gibbs’ agents in a new and intriguing way.
That’s right, Ziva and Abby are going to split off and work a case together. And Coté de Pablo, for one, tells TVLine she is “really excited” about the must-see match-up.
“It’s the first time they actually put those two characters together in an episode just about them,” the actress notes. “They get Abby outside the lab, we’re in Gibbs’ house…. It was fun working that dynamic with Pauley [Perrette]. She’s great to work with.

We chatted with actress Kirsten Prout on bringing out the evil in Alex Bell. Plus, Rebecca reveals her craziest side yet! I hope she never leaves Phoenix. The Jan. 30 episode of The Lying Game reminded me exactly why I love this show so much: It keeps us guessing week-to-week, but unlike its fellow ABC Family dramas about untrustworthy teenagers, it actually gives us answers. Not only did we learn the identity of the mysterious "snake" man, but we also discovered something unspeakable -- there's a second murderer in town! In a nutshell, it turns out it was Derek (Ben Elliott) who attacked Sutton (Alexandra Chando) in the backseat of her car, causing it to fall into the lake. But we probably shouldn't expect him to come clean about who he was working for, because he was found dead at the end of the episode! And since this isn't Pretty Little Liars, I'm not holding my breath for any mysterious texts from beyond the grave.

This week’s episode of The Lying Game, “Pleased to Meet Me” was one of the more mediocre episodes of the bunch so far this season. While Sutton (Alexandra Chando) has returned home and is no longer in need of having Emma be her, the drama was not taken to its usual high. Instead of focusing on story development, this was more of a character driven episode in the sense that we were given some back story and we were finally able to see how certain characters act around others when the going gets tough. Overall, this is definitely not one of the most memorable episodes of The Lying Game, but it played its necessary part in this story and for that, it can be appreciated.

The Lying Game returned with all new episodes this week and brought fans of the book series a very sweet treat towards the end! If this week’s episode is any indication as to what we can look forward to in the second half of season one, there are going to be some mind blowing episodes ahead… especially with Charisma Carpenter joining the cast.
“Keep on being Sutton… Or you’re next.”
Carpenter joins the cast of Char’s (Kirsten Prout) Aunt, Annie. But she goes by her middle name, Rebecca now. And her relationship between all of the adults on the show as well as her true reasoning for coming back to town are still unclear. Sutton (Alexandra Chando) isn’t the only one playing a lying game that is for sure. It is going to be quite a thrill watching the drama unfold that is attached to Rebecca.

On Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charisma Carpenter’s Cordelia was the enviable queen bee. But on The Lying Game, her character’s past is far cry from the popular girl Carpenter once played.
The actress begins her six-episode stint on the freshman teen drama tonight, playing Rebecca Sewell, Char’s (Kirsten Prout) once-teased aunt, who returns years after leaving the town many years ago. And she has something to prove, says Carpenter. “I think her true intention is to come back and re-invent herself from who she used to be back in the day,” she says. “Growing up with Alec...

Emma & Ethan's relationship was tested as more secrets emerged on the Jan. 2 winter premiere. Picking up immediately where the summer finale left off, the Jan. 2 winter premiere of The Lying Game set the stage for a dramatic -- and ridiculously confusing -- second half of the season. For starters, Emma's (Alexandra Chando) mystery party crasher turned out not to be the Annie Hobbs we were all expecting, but rather Annie "Rebecca" Sewell (Charisma Carpenter), who also happens to be Char's (Kirsten Prout) aunt. So why did Rebecca come back to Phoenix? Why did she change her name from Annie? And how is she connected to Annie Hobbs? None of these questions were answered in the premiere, but we do know Rebecca's got a hell of a past with Alec (Adrian Pasdar) and Ted (Andy Buckley.) In fact, unless I'm completely insane, I think I even saw a little spark between Rebecca and Alec.

When The Lying Game returns to ABC Family next year, things are really going to be shaken up. Sure, there's the matter of Sutton disappearing, but there's also the return of a face from Ted (Andy Buckley) and Alec's (Adrian Pasdar) past that could reveal more secrets.
Charisma Carpenter -- you might've seen her recently on Supernatural, and you definitely remember her from Buffy and Angel -- is headed to the show as Rebecca "Annie" Sewell, Char's (Kirsten Prout) aunt who left Phoenix many years ago, and whose return will definitely ruffle some feathers. She recently talked to reporters about what to expect from Annie, including whether the fact that she looks very much like Alexandra Chando means anything -- could she be Sutton and Emma's actual parents? Highlights start in the next paragraph:...

Watch our exclusive video interview with Alexandra Chando & Blair Redford! There are going to be a few new faces in Phoenix when The Lying Game returns Jan. 2, but the one we're most looking forward to is Charisma Carpenter as Char's (Kirsten Prout) estranged aunt Ann! HollywoodLife.com caught up with Alexandra Chando and Blair Redford at ABC Family's Winter Wonderland event Dec. 4 in NYC for the scoop on what Charisma will bring to the show, as well as what viewers can expect from Ethan and Emma's rocky relationship. While Alexandra couldn't give too much away about Charisma's character, she was more than happy to gush about working with her. "She is very sweet," Alexandra told us. "We only did one scene together, and it was kind of in passing, but I think we're going to have more in the future. She's awesome, she's great." As for whether or not...

The twins finally come face-to-face (again) on tonight's nail-biting season finale! Everyone is excited about Sutton's (Alexandra Chando) 17th birthday on the Oct. 17 fall finale of ABC Family's The Lying Game -- except for Emma, who knows her new life in Phoenix will come to a crushing end the minute Sutton returns home and exposes her. I got a chance to watch tonight's nail-biter, and I can confirm that Emma indeed has plenty to be worried about. 1. Big changes for Ethan & Emma: Fans of Ethan (Blair Redford) and Emma's up-and-down relationship will be emotional wrecks by the time tonight's episode is over. Tears are shed, tensions run high, and confessions come out. 2. A new guy for Char? While Char (Kirsten Prout) is still head-over-heels for Derek (Ben Elliott), we all know how much The Lying Game loves a good triangle. Keep your eyes peeled for a spark between Char...

Elektra Jennifer Garner, Natassia Malthe Lesbian Kiss Scene. The Elektra (2005) Jennifer Garner, Natassia Malthe lesbian kiss scene, directed by Rob Bowman, is from a combat scene in the film where Typhoid Mary (Natassia Malthe) uses her death touch power over Elektra Natchios (Jennifer Garner). Elektra‘s plot synopsis: “Elektra the warrior survives a near-death experience, becomes an assassin-for-hire, and tries to protect her two latest targets, a single father and his young daughter, from a group of supernatural assassins.”
The best part of Elektra was this scene, the first kill, the one armed pull ups, and the use of the ninja silent step. Other than that, the film was wanting, right at the bottom of the superhero film barrel with Thor and Green Lantern.
Elektra also stars Goran Visnjic, Kirsten Prout, Will Yun Lee, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Terence Stamp, Chris Ackerman, Colin Cunningham, Hiro Kanagawa, Mark Houghton, and Kurt Max Runte.

Chicago – ABC Family’s “The Lying Game” is a so-so soap but it’s elevated beyond that by a young lady with the kind of screen presence that virtually announces that she will be a star. There’s nothing you can do or say about it. It’s just going to happen. The actress in question is the talented Alexandra Chando, a former daytime soap opera star given the chance to reach a wider audience with the premiere of tonight’s young adult mystery/melodrama.

The pilot we’ve seen for “Ringer” may be fine-tuned and improved upon before our final review but, for now, “The Lying Game” is actually the superior show. It’s smarter, more cleverly paced,...
