It really warms our hearts when the cast of a film remain friends after the film wraps. Which is why we love these photos of the cast of D2: The Mighty Ducks, who got together Sunday to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film's release. The quack attack is back, Jack! Christopher Redman posted this photo of the cast forming the film's iconic "flying V" formation on a tennis court, and Marguerite Moreau posted pics with the other cast members, now all grown up. Notably missing: Joshua Jackson, Kenan Thompson, and Emilio Estevez. But despite those absences, there doesn't appear...

Proving that Ducks do, indeed, fly together, the cast of “D2: The Mighty Ducks” flocked together of the anniversary of their films release and posed for a now-viral shot.
Christopher Redman shared the awesome photo of the cast perfecting the Flying V pose from the famous hockey flick. And though they posed on a tennis court instead of the ice, it is still an awesome shot of the cast members.
In addition to the v, there were plenty of other awesome reunion shots including a photo of Marguerite Moreau, who played the lovable Connie.

If you heard the familiar "Quack, quack, quack!" refrain from "The Mighty Ducks" off in the distance this weekend, you weren't hallucinating: Most of the cast staged an epic reunion on Sunday in honor of the 20th anniversary of "D2: The Mighty Ducks," and recreated the film's iconic Flying V.
Marguerite Moreau, who played Connie in the "Ducks" trilogy, posted a series of photos to her Instagram account (along with her husband, Christopher Redman) documenting the awesome occurrence, complete with a massive, 21-person Flying V featuring just about every important character to grace the "Ducks" series throughout its three-film run.
Two glaring omissions, as pointed out by MTV, were Joshua Jackson and Emilio Estevez, a.k.a. Charlie Conway and Gordon Bombay, who somehow missed the memo about Sunday's gathering. While it doesn't seem like a true "Ducks" reunion without them, the number of cast members that assembled for the event was still pretty impressive,...

Back in late July a bootlegged red band trailer for Michael Dowse's hockey dramedy Goon found its way online and it looked like one giant massive cliche. However, the film premiered here at the Toronto International Film Festival recently and was immediately snatched up by Magnet Releasing and I've heard more than one person talking about how good it is.
One such person telling me their thoughts was Ottawa native Christopher Redmond who writes on his blog, "I may lose some teeth for saying this, but Goon beats out long-time defending champ Slap Shot for the best film yet about hockey." High praise and Redmond is an admitted major hockey fan.
He told me star Seann William Scott doesn't have a single sarcastic line in the whole film and it really balances the comedy and the drama nicely. All are comments we never would have expected after seeing that early sales trailer.

The jury discussions were yet another reminder – as if I needed one covering the Oscars so closely each year – that one man’s treasure is another man’s… anyway, the discussions were lively and fun but so much disagreement! We ended up not spreading the wealth much because we were very divided about our slate of films and even the individual achievements within the films. Our...
