- Walter Reimann was born on June 2, 1887 in Berlin, Germany. He was an art director and production designer, known for The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), Elisabeth und der Narr (1934) and The Living Dead (1932). He died on November 8, 1936 in Bad Godesberg [now Bonn], Germany.
- German production designer. He first worked at the Vilnius Army Theatre in 1916, where he joined the team of art directors Hermann Warm and Walter Röhrig. In 1919, he entered films as a set painter, later advancing to production design. In collaboration with Warm and Röhrig, he worked on the design for Fritz Lang's classic 'The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920)_. He also had a brief spell in Hollywood, designing an alpine village in the Californian desert for Ernst Lubitsch's Eternal Love (1929).
- He became a demanded production designer in the 20s and he took part in some huge productions, above all "Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari" (1920) which he created together with Hermann Warm and Walter Röhrig.
