Kurt Richter was also responsible for the set for numerous silent movies of the 20s. To the well-known productions of that time belong "Der Golem, wie er in die Welt kam" (1920), "Flitterwochen" (1928) and "Spelunke" (1928).
The production designer Kurt Richter came in 1915 to the film where he soon became a demanded artist and he took part in some of important productions.
With the rise of the sound film he retired from the film business.
Beside his activity as a production designer he also created the costumes for "Die Puppe" (1919), directed the movie "Panzerschrank Nr. 13" (1921) and was responsible for the camera for "Der Prinz und die Tänzerin" (1926).
