- Gene Ruggiero was born on June 20, 1910 in North Hempstead, New York, USA. He was an editor and producer, known for Around the World in 80 Days (1956), The Shop Around the Corner (1940) and Ninotchka (1939). He died on February 19, 2002 in Ogden, Utah, USA.
