A movie industry Trade Paper item in mid-1934 stated that Ann Ronell was writing songs for an upcoming Paramount musical to be entitled "The Big Broadcast of 1934". Ultimately no such movie was made and there is no evidence that any songs she may have written for it were ever used in any later productions.
