Miranda Hart and Jessica Raine star in Call the Midwife spoof video short 'The Runner', which features the actresses 'bullying' a crew member on the BBC One drama.
The comedy short follows the story of TV runner Matt Fleet, who suffers at the hands of the Midwife cast, who shout at him, throw coffee over him and hit him behind the scenes.
The video, directed by Michael O'Kelly, was one of the first entries in this year's Virgin Media Shorts competition. The winner of the competition will secure £30K of funding and support from the BFI.
Shane Meadows is heading the search for the new British film talent, which is still open for entries.

I remember around 10 years ago when the world was a buzz of what we could do with the internet, and the way it would revolutionise the way we watch and interact with media. It’s take a fair amount of time for that technology to catch up with the demands that were required to be able to stream movies and live TV across it...

London -- In the race to launch 3D television in the U.K., Virgin Media has emerged as the surprise winner -- although compared to arch-rival BSkyB, its offering is somewhat slim-line.
The British cable group has stolen a two-day march on BSkyB, by announcing the launch of a new 3D-ready set top box allowing its customers access to On-Demand movies from today.
With special 3D glasses, Virgin customers with the right set top box will be able to watch Brit flick "StreetDance 3D" at £5.99 ($9.45) for a 24-hour rental as well as upcoming titles including "Garfield's Pet Force 3D," "Disney's A Christmas Carol 3D" and "Step Up 3D" in the next few months.
Virgin Media executive director of digital entertainment Cindy Rose promised that the launch would open the way to "eye-popping movies" for all the family.

London -- Virgin Media posted a record 750 million on-demand views last year, a 50% hike over 2007 -- driven by viewers flocking to watch catch-up content from the BBC, ITV and others on their TV sets.
The cable platform said almost 60% of its 3.7 million TV customers were regular users of its catch-up services, which uniquely allow viewers to download programming from the BBC iPlayer and other catch-up services directly onto their TV set-top boxes.
Currently, users of such download services typically have to watch them on a computer.
In December Virgin logged 76 million downloads, with 20 million views relating to BBC iPlayer downloads. In the same month the BBC said total iPlayer downloads exceeded 100 million.
Virgin Media executive director, digital entertainment, Cindy Rose said that Virgin had "helped redefine the viewing habits of millions of people" by freeing them up from the TV schedule.
