- She was the co-owner and founder of the award-winning restaurant Watershed, located first in Decatur, Georgia and later in Atlanta, Georgia. On April 7, 2018, it was announced that Emily and her business partner had sold the restaurant.

- The Indigo Girls (Amy Ray and Emily Saliers) are currently on tour around the USA, promoting their ninth studio album, entitled All That We Let In, which was released in February of 2004. This is their last album with Epic Records, and no definite plans have been made (yet!) for the duo to sign with anyone else. (March 2004)
