The series about the lives of high school students ran for exactly ten years – from 1990 to 2000. The most successful seasons of Beverly Hills, 90210 were watched by 14.5 million viewers in the US alone, and by the same number of fans around the world.
During this time, the main characters evolved from shallow high school students to complex personalities, dealing not only with common teenage problems, but also with more serious issues such as alcoholism and domestic violence.
Despite the fact that the main characters became world famous, Beverly Hills, 90210 was the first and last major project for most of the cast.

Joe E. Tata, the prolific and versatile TV actor whose most enduring role was as Nat Bussichio, the owner of the Peach Pit on “Beverly Hills, 90210,” has died. He was 85.

Ziering, who played Steve Sanders on the ’90s show, wrote: “Joey was truly an Og, I remember seeing him on the Rockford files with James Garner years before we worked together on 90210. He was often one of the background villains in the original Batman series. One of the happiest people I’ve ever worked with, he was as generous with his wisdom as he was with his kindness. Though the peach pit was a 90210 set, It often felt like the backdrop to the Joe E Tata show. The...

It’s campy. It’s gory and it’s all about zombies. Ian Ziering is back and he’s battling zombies. Zombie Tidal Wave premieres tonight on SyFy at 9 pm. We don’t really need to go in-depth here, but it looks like from the trailer that zombies are coming ashore and Ziering and company have to battle the undead or join them. After playing Steve Sanders in all ten seasons of Beverly Hills 90210, Ziering has created a cult-like following with the Sharknado series. So far there have been six Sharknado movies all airing on the SyFy network with big numbers churning out to watch the mayhem. Sharknado may be cheesy, but there seems to be an audience that loves those crazy sharks. Ziering is hoping that those same people who love the Sharknado series will be fall in love with Zombie Tidal Wave. Anthony C. Ferrante who directed all...

“Beverly Hills, 90210” alum Shannen Doherty “definitely” wasn’t on board for “BH90210,” Fox’s meta-revival of the series — and then Luke Perry, who played her on-screen love interest on the original show, died.
“So with me, it was, as these guys know, I definitely wasn’t going to do it,” Doherty told reporters while sitting next to her co-stars during the revival’s panel at Television Critics Association press tour Wednesday. “And nothing against the show, I knew that the show would, you know, get sold and do well with or without me. But they didn’t need me, so it just wasn’t at that moment what I wanted to be doing.”
The six-episode series, which premieres tonight, centers on the original cast — Doherty (who played Brenda Walsh), Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea Zuckerman), Jennie Garth (Kelly Taylor), Brian Austin Green (David Silver), Jason Priestley (Brandon Walsh), Ian Ziering (Steve Sanders...

The limited series will see original cast members Shannen Doherty (Brenda Walsh), Jason Priestley (Brandon Walsh), Jennie Garth (Kelly Taylor), Ian Ziering (Steve Sanders) and Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea Zuckerman) all return to play fictionalized versions of themselves — “with a healthy dose of irreverence” — as they try to get a revival of their old show off the ground. And because “BH90210” is about brining back “90210,” TheWrap thought the best way to mark the occasion was to remind you of some of the most memorable moments from the original series. Click through our gallery to reminisce about the gang who used to hang at the Peach Pit.
