Took his stage name, Sciré, from the name of the submarine his father commanded in the victorious attack to naval base in Alexandria on the night between 18th and 19th of December 1941.
Son of Junio Valerio Borghese, a famous (then infamous) Italian navy officer, who was, at first, a Second-World-War hero (decorated with a gold medal for military valour), and then, in 1970, the head of a failed putsch in Italy.
