- (1951) He designed the cover illustration for Christopher Fry's play "A Sleep of Prisoners", at the Festival of Britain with Denholm Elliott, Stanley Baker, Hugh Pryse and Leonard White in the cast. Michael Macowan was the director and Peter Vaughan was the stage manager.
- (1952) He designed for Alan Melville, Simon Phipps, Paul Dehn, and Herbret Farjeon's revue, "Penny Plain," at the St. Martin's Theatre in London, England with Joyce Grenfell, Elisabeth Welch, Max Adrian, Desmond Walter-Ellis, Rose Hill, Moyra Fraser, Julian Orchard, and Jimmy Thompson in the cast. Laurier Lister was director. Richard Addinsell, Donald Swann, Charles Zwar, Clifton Parker, and Sandy Wilson were also composers. Joyce Grenfell and Michael Flanders were lyricists. Hutchinson Scott and Osbert Lancaster were set designers.
- (1955) He designed Donald Swann's musical, "Wild Thyme", at the Duke of York's Theatre in London, England with Betty Paul, Denis Quilley, Colin Gordon, Jane Wenham, Stella Chapman, Julian Orchard, Gwen Nelson and Frank Duncan in the cast. Wendy Toye was the director.
