The month of April is the month of Freddy Krueger. At the end of the month the remake launches and mid week A Nightmare on Elm Street finally moves to Blu-ray (April 13th). The film in the digital format will have a slew of extras including a director's commentary, a crew commentary (with a dozen participants), three alternative endings, and three featurettes. The transfer has been described as excellent (Monsters) and those wanting to amp themselves up for the big screen release might want to sit down with the original in the best quality available.
