To celebrate the release of Kirsten Sheridan’s new film Dollhouse, The Factory and the Ifi have collaborated to host a very special Keeping It Local day on Wednesday 5 December with directors Kirsten And Jim Sheridan in attendance at the Cinemobile, North Wall Quay, Campshire, Dublin 1 (across from Wapping Street junction) To kickstart the day, we will host a programme of films made in and around Sheriff Street from the 1930s – 1970s from the Ifi Irish Film Archive. These special screenings begin at 10.30am and will be introduced by Jim Sheridan who was brought up in Sheriff Street, along with his brother, renowned writer & playwright, Peter Sheridan and will be attended by local active retirement groups, Alone charity workers and community groups.
