- Her Sister Tara Sinnott was Chief of Staff to Top Gun/Pirates of the Caribbean Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and now holds the same position at Imagine Entertainment for film and television Producer Brian Grazer.

- Fiona was married to musician Dave Adams for 16 years and they have one son. Dave is the drummer on Disney's The Lion King in London's West End and is an experienced jazz musician and pianist. Their son was given the opportunity to conduct the orchestra bows from the Musical Director's podium when he was 3 years of age.
- Fiona went to the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and was a classmate of Minnie Driver.
