- He composed the benefit song "The Sampleton" for Artsen zonder Grenzen (Doctors Without Borders) in 1996.
- In more recent years he was the director and arranger of the "Orchestra Strato-Vani", who played popular evergreens.

- The collaboration with The Maessen sisters resulted in a new group "Dream Express" with Luc the only male member with The Hearts Of Soul sisters.
- Due to differences of opinion and a lack of motivation, Luc was kicked out of the band The Pebbles, along with Pebbles drummer Marcel "Cel" De Cauwer, who had become a Jehovah's Witness at that time and was therefore not allowed to perform on Sundays.
- When Patrica Maessen left the group 'Dream Express' in 1979, they changed their name to LBS (Luc, Bianca, Stella) and released 3 more singles throughout 1979 - 1981. Abroad like in Poland the LBS material was still released under Dream Express.
- In 1967 he supported Jimi Hendrix at the Paris Olympia with The Pebbles.
- His talents also graced children's TV shows.
- He co-composed the biggest hit for the Pebbles: "Seven Horses In the Sky". The song is considered by many to be the best Belgian pop song ever.
- He wrote scores for TV youth series like: 'Tik Tak', 'Musti', 'Plons de gekke kikker' and the 'Blinker'-movies from author Marc De Bel ('Blinker and 'Blinker en het Bagbag-juweel').
- Luc and Dream Express-member Bianca more than liked each other and got married along the way. They were married for some years but separated, Bianca also left Belgium and moved back to The Netherlands.
- In addition to his work with the various bands, he was also a composer and producer. He was much in demand as an arranger for violin parts.
- In 2003 he provided the musical direction and arrangements for the musical comedy "Zo Mooi, Zo Blond" by Het Nieuwe Boulevardtheater, and in 2004 he was musical director and arranger of the musical "Bloedbroeders", a Flemish version of the English musical "Blood Brothers".
- After the split of his group LBS Luc worked mainly as a composer, arranger and producer, and created a new girl group 'La Dolce Vita' with his new partner.
- In 1966 he joined the rockband The Pebbles, which includes later Trinity members Bobby "Bekket" Baelemans and Fred Bekky.
- Together with Marcel De Cauwer he founded the group "Shampoo". Shampoo released one LP in 1972, featuring jazz rock-tinged music inspired by the experimental work Frank Zappa was making at the time. However, commercial success failed to materialize, and they became the backing group of the Dutch Hearts of Soul.
- The highlight of Dream Express was entering The Eurovision Song Contest for Belgium (for Hearts Of Soul their second entry at the festival) with the song "A Million In 1, 2, 3' (co-composed by Luc, who produced and composed most of Dream Express' material). They ended on place 7 (out of 18 contestants).
- He composed for most Flemish artists like a.o. Helmut Lotti, Jo Valley, Willy Sommers, De Strangers, Gary Hagger, Ann Christy, Rocco Granata, Frank Galan, and Nicole & Hugo.
- In late 2002, he joined forces with some familiar faces, including Marcel De Cauwer, a former member of the Pebbles, to create the cover band "No Joke.".
