The production designer Hans Sohnle started his film career after World War I and in the 20s he became established in this profession.
Before he began at the film he learnt the profession of a carpenter and he also joined the arts and crafts school.
The most buys time came in the 30s into being für Hans Sohnle and he was responsible for the production design for "Alraune" (1930), Fridericus" (1937), "Der unmögliche Herr Pitt" (1938) and "Ein ganzer Kerl" (1939).
He remained active as a production designer till 1964 but the number of movies he was involved decreased.
