Alberto Spiazzi

Alberto Spiazzi was born in Verona, Italy, where he began his studies
at a local art school followed by studies in Venice and Florence, where
he attended the Academy of Fine Arts. Mr. Spiazzi has worked with
notable costume designers Fiorenzo Giorgi, Sylvano Bussotti and
Pasquale Grossi, and has collaborated with mentors Piero Tosi and
Gabriella Pescucci several times, and most notably, Franco Zeffirelli.
Mr. Spiazzi's work on the film Tea with Mussolini earned him a British
Academy of Film and Television Award (BAFTA) nomination, as well as The
Silver Ribbon Award win.
Along with feature films, Spiazzi also frequently works in theater and television.
