Has three children with her husband Adam Hynes: a son Gabriel Hynes (b. 1998) and two daughters - Barbara Hynes (b. 2003) and Flora Hynes (b. 2006).
In 2007 she changed her stage name to her married name Jessica Hynes,
some years after getting married.
Auditioned for, and was accepted into the prestigious National Youth
Theatre at the age of 15.
Nominated for the 2009 Tony Award for Best Performance for a Featured Actress in a Play for "The Norman Conquests".
She was nominated for a 2003 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best
Performance in a Supporting Role of 2002 for her performance in "The Night Heron", performed at the Royal Court Theatre Downstairs.
