In our Q&a series Popsugar Crush, we get to know some of our favorite celebs' more intimate details - from their perfect date night to their best love advice. This month, we're crushing on "Bel-Air" star Jordan L. Jones.
It's pretty rare for actors to have the opportunity to work with their parents on screen. But in "Bel-Air"'s episode four of season two, star Jordan L. Jones got to do exactly that. "I think the greatest part is that my mom actually auditioned for this," Jones tells Popsugar of having his mother, Ptosha Storey, as a scene partner. In fact, she didn't even tell him about it until after the fact. "I was like, 'What the f*ck?' You got to tell a brother."
"What I didn't want to do is be like, 'Yeah, so my mom is getting this audition. I would love for her to play my mom.

Imani has a new look on Y&R. Pic credit CBS
What happened to Imani on The Young and the Restless? That’s a question being asked after a new actress has taken over the role of Amanda’s (Mishael Morgan) sister.
Leigh-Ann Rose originated the role of Imani in December 2019 when Amanda finally found her biological mother, Naya (Ptosha Storey).
The talented actress has been heating things up as Imani sets her sights on Nate (Sean Dominic), who’s dating Elena (Brytni Sarpy).
Since Imani has been making waves in Genoa City and the writers are clearly in the midst of a love triangle, it was a bit odd to see a new actress in the role.
There’s good news, though, for Imani fans.
Leigh-Ann isn’t gone for good.

SEESee all soap opera stars who won Best Actress at the Daytime Emmys
The Daytime Emmys honor the best in television programming that airs during the day, but that distinction is not as simple as it used to be. We’re in an era when streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime deliver programming that can be viewed at any time of day, some of which conforms more closely to the kinds of shows that air in prime time, and others that correspond to the usual daytime fare.
