"We've eaten them for years, now it's their turn!"
A whacky trailer has dropped for an absurd but amusing looking film called Attack of the Killer Donuts. When you watch the trailer, you'll see that the movie looks just as crazy and ridiculous as you'd think it would look with a title like that. Here's the synopsis:
A chemical accident in a sleepy town turns ordinary donuts into bloodthirsty monsters. Unaware of the donuts danger, Johnny, Michelle and Howard sell them to unsuspecting customers. When the donuts start eating their victims, the only way the three friends can save their sleepy town is to track down the Killer Donuts down and destroy them. The final standoff is where it all began: Dandy Donuts.
Yeah, the concept is stupid as hell, but you know what, some people might enjoy the stupidity of it. Hey, if a movie like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes...

"We've eaten them for years, now it's their turn!" Level 33 Entertainment has dropped a trailer for a goofy new horror comedy film titled Attack of the Killer Donuts, which is indeed about donuts that become bloody thirsty killers. They've thought of everything, haven't they? Maybe this is the perfect trailer to watch the day after Halloween, although it'll probably give you the munchies for donuts (just make sure the ones you buy aren't bloody thirsty killers). Attack of the Killer Donuts stars Justin Ray, Kayla Compton, Ben Heyman, Kassandra Voyagis, Michael Swan, and Aaron Groben. On one hand, it's kind of cool that something this wacky still exists (with its own theme song?!). On the other, this looks as awful as it sounds. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Scott Wheeler's Attack of the Killer Donuts, from YouTube: A chemical accident turns ordinary donuts into blood thirsty killers.

One's an intense movie tough guy. The other is a former swimsuit model. The producer is a legend who most recently birthed a Sharktopus. The director is a b-movie kingpin who most recently pitted Dinocroc vs. Supergator. Michael Madsen and Rachel Hunter have now signed on to star in the Roger Corman-produced, Jim Wynorski-directed Piranhaconda. The Syfy gods are smiling tonight.

Former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Rachel Hunter (pictured right, who will also be seen later this year in the Syfy disaster epic Miami Magma) will play the female lead, a character named "Thalia". Odds are she'll be the one to slay the carnivorous fish-reptile. Kill Bill badass Michael Madsen has been cast as a character named "Dr. Lovegrove". For Michael Swan Audition Turns Into 'Old Home Week'
By Tracie Powell and Angela Toszegi
What do Michael Swan, Robert Newman, Randolph Mantooth, and Mark Pinter all have in common besides the obvious? They all showed up for the same job interview last week.
“Just came back from the ‘old home week’ audition of all time. All guys I've worked with over the years going back to prime time in the seventies,” said Michael Swan, who portrayed Duncan McKechnie on As The World Turns in the 1980s.
Swan said he was at the audition with Newman (who portrayed the well-loved ‘Josh Lewis’ on Guiding Light) and they were talking about the ill-fated ‘Brad Green’ on Gl and how Mark Pinter took over the part. “His name had no sooner left my lips then (Pinter) walked in the room,” Swan continued. “So great to see him; what a classy and great looking guy.
