At the beginning of senior year, it was clear that Tamara had a plan for how things would go, a plan that unexpectedly hit a snag when Jake broke up with her. It’s been increasingly clear that the breakup rattled Tamara, who has subsequently attempted to re-engage Jake via catfishing. This week’s episode sees the former’s deception come to light, in an enjoyable outing that pushes a number of characters forward.
Having Tamara’s catfishing get exposed is a fascinating aspect of this week’s episode. Tamara’s near-obsessive desire to win Jake back has clearly had an effect on her other professional duties over the past few episodes, and it’s the possibility of reconciling with Jake that has kept her going.

We didn't technically get our answer, but it was still a big night for Team Jake! Do you need to love someone in order to have sex, or do you need to have sex with someone in order to figure out if you love them? That was the biggest of many questions Jenna (Ashley Rickards) pondered on the Aug. 2 episode of Awkward, and by the end of the night, she finally came to a conclusion — in the back of Jake's (Brett Davern) surprisingly well-decorated minivan. So did they actually have sex? Much like the ending of The Dark Knight Rises, that's up for debate, as Jenna mentioned something being "worth the wait," yet still closed the door so she and Jake could enjoy the spacious minivan. Also up for debate: Are Jenna and Sadie (Molly Tarlov) related?! Jenna's crazy/awesome Aunt Ally (Barret Swatek) made her crazy/awesome return this week,...

"The Vampire Diaries": This fandom is already pretty divided, but Joseph Morgan tells us that after the season finale, even more lines will be drawn in the sand. "The last twenty seconds of the episode will leave people with their hearts in their mouths," he tells us. How's that for a turn of phrase? "You're going to be desperately wishing to fast forward and be on to the first episode of Season 4, because it's hugely dramatic. There's a lot of shock value,...

Ever since Tina Fey’s over-sharing, sarcastic, self-deprecating persona made her the “it girl” of female comedy, it seems as if countless other comedic actresses have attempted to duplicate her mojo. In the web series My Two Fans, what Liz Lemon lacks, Kate Maxwell has on her side. Barret Swatek (Quarterlife, 7th Heaven) stars as Kate, a Los Angeleno rebounding from yet another breakup and still not grasping the basic principles of “He’s Just Not That Into You.” Todd Felix (The Mentalist) and Bill Escudier (Family Guy, Bones) are Franklin and Teddy, “two fans” who take her under their wing and attempt to life coach some sense into her. So who are these fans? They’re not gay best friends - that would have been too 90’s, too Will & Grace. They’re sensitive hetero-men, meant to be heard and not seen in their quest to land Kate a significant other.

My Two Fans premieres today after whetting appetites with its juicy trailer (above), marking former Quarterlife bombshell Barret Swatek's return to web screens. Swatek stars as 20-something Kate Maxwell who attempts to rebound from a recent breakup aided by two helplessly devoted fans. The comedy web series is the first project out of Mwg Entertainment, which is headed up by veteran television and new media executive Max Goldenson (daughter of ABC Network founder Leonard Goldenson). The series is created and directed by Lauren Iungerich, who had previously directed Swatek in the Funny Or Die web series Dating for Dumbasses. Todd Felix and Bill Escudier star as Kate's two "fans," Franklin and Teddy, devotedly picking up after her dating mishaps and other twists of life.

Quarterlife bombshell Barret Swatek is starring in a new series My Two Fans, a fictional 16-episode web series that follows the life of an average late 20’s single woman, Kate Maxwell, as she rebounds from a broken heart with the help of her two fans. The series, set to premiere on March 9th, comes from Mwg Entertainment, formed by veteran television, investment banker and new media executive Max Goldenson (daughter of ABC Network founder and television pioneer, Leonard Goldenson). “The formation of Mwg allows me to create a company for the digital age just as my father created one for the analog age,” said Goldenson. "Our business model targets the under-served adult female audience that is internet-savvy and hungry for entertaining and accessible programming. As the first of what we hope will be many projects for this target audience, My Two Fans, created by Lauren Iungerich The show also features...
