- Writer Edithe Swensen grew up in Brooklyn, New York City. Swensen has a Bachelor's Degree in English from Wheaton College in Illinois and a Master's in English from Penn State. Edithe and her husband Stephen started their married life living together in Tangier, Morocco before eventually moving back to America. Swensen began her writing career in television in the mid-1980's. Edithe has written a handful of TV movies as well as for various TV shows. Outside of writing, Swensen is also a trained yoga instructor who leads classes at the Wilton branch of the Saratoga Regional YMCA in Saratoga, New York.
