- Eleonore Tappert was born on February 7, 1897 in Steinau an der Oder, Lower Silesia, Germany [now Scinawa, Dolnoslaskie, Poland]. She was an actress, known for La Paloma (1959), Karneval der Liebe (1943) and Kora Terry (1940). She died in 2000.
- In the 50's her performances in front of the camera diminished but she still remained active as a movie and later television actress till to the 70s.
- She joined the film business in 1934 and she soon became a demanded support actress.
- Besides her activity as an actress she also worked as a dubbing speaker.
- The actress Eleonore Tappert began her career as a stage actress in Berlin where she impersonated numerous smaller roles.
