Susie Pugh-Tasios was born in Bath, England in 1948. She is a graduate
of London University, Drama and English. From 1970 to 1977 she was on
staff at BBC Television credited in various capacities such
writer/director/assistant producer for the renowned "The World About
Us" strand of 50 minute films.
In the early 1980s she decided to relocate to Greece, having visited the country repeatedly on assignments. From 1983 she began to operate as a freelance producer/line producer for foreign productions shooting in Greece, features, documentaries and TVCs. In 1998 her role as associate producer for the feature film Captain Corelli's Mandolin (2001), led to the start of her production company "Tasios Productions" with partner/husband Zikos Tasios. Tasios Productions recently serviced another Universal release The Bourne Identity (2002) starring Matt Damon and Franka Potente.
