Grace and Frankie’s time is coming to a close as the Netflix series wrapped filming last night for the remaining episodes of its upcoming seventh and final season.
Crew members of the Netflix comedy shared behind-the-scenes photos of the series’ final moments on-set at Hollywood’s Sunset Gower Studios on late on Wednesday. “When your whole #family agrees to an #epic #selfie #farewell #graceandfrankie I love you all,” said Luke Miller in his Instagram post.
The post by the co-cinematographer, along with Gale Tattersall, saw a giant selfie with the stars Jane Fonda and Lilly Tomlin in the center, surrounded by various members of the series’ team. Multi-Emmy nominated production designer, who has been with the show since the beginning, shared a look at the giant cake wheeled out after the last shot of the last scene last night.

Scream Factory is looking to make this summer one to remember for horror fans with a bunch of new Blu-ray releases, and perhaps one of their most anticipated titles is 2001's Thirteen Ghosts, the Dark Castle remake of William Castle's 1960 film. Initially slated for a June 9th debut, the new Collector's Edition Blu-ray is now coming out on July 28th, and we've been provided with the full list of special features, including a new audio commentary with director Steve Beck:
Press Release: This summer, thrills and chills abound with the arrival of the horror thriller Thirteen Ghosts Collector’s Edition Blu-ray on July 28, 2020 from Scream Factory™. Awesome ectoplasmic specters populate Thirteen Ghosts, an effects-rampant remake of the 1960 William Castle haunted-house film directed by Steve Beck (Ghost Ship) and from producers Gilbert Adler (House on Haunted Hill), Joel Silver and Robert Zemeckis. Well before the mainstream fascination with the soft-core sexual sensibilities of Fifty Shades of Grey, one of the more notable alums of such boundary pushing was American filmmaker Zalman King. After producing the infamous sensation that was Adrian Lyne’s 9 ½ Weeks, King moved into filmmaking himself, debuting in 1988 with Two Moon Junction, before collaborating with his wife Patricia Louisiana Knopp on what stands as his most high profile title with Wild Orchid in 1989, reuniting him with Weeks stars Mickey Rourke. As is often the case with cinema seriously interested in exploring eroticism and titillation, the title suffers from a lot of misplaced energy. Character development and its semblance of a narrative appear to be roughly hewn afterthoughts, its most pronounced moments revolving around extremely stylized sexual congress between several different characters (and stylized in the vein of what we see on display in Verhoeven’s Showgirls).

The Addams Family looked a seamless project to bring to the screen. But the film, starring Raul Julia and Anjelica Huston, was anything but.
When we talk about difficult film productions, the same names seem to come through. Apocalypse Now and The Deer Hunter, for instance, are productions with well-told stories of how those behind the scenes went to proverbial hell and back. In more recent times, most of us are more than familiar with the hell that those behind World War Z went through to get it to the screen.
What I though would be a bit different though is take a generally very successful film, and dig a bit deeper to see if there was a troubled story there. One where behind the scenes issues are rarely talked about. Given that I've come to this piece straight after writing about 1991's movies, here, I settled on The Addams Family.
