- He continued his activity as a producer after World War II successfully and he realised popular movies as "Das fliegende Klassenzimmer" (1954), "Es geschah am 20. Juli" (1955), "Teufel in Seide" (1956), "Anastasia - Die letzte Zarentochter" (1956), "Es geschah am hellichten Tag" (1958), "Die Brücke" (1959) and "Hunde, wollt ihr ewig leben" (1959).
- He widened his knowledge from 1924 by studying philosophy, German philology and art history before he began his professional life as an assistant for direction and dramaturgy at the Altes Theater in Leipzig in 1928.
