Martin Tellez is a traditional Aztec Dancer and Aztec Drummer
originally from Mexico City. He has performed throughout the United
States and internationally presenting authentic indigenous Aztec
Dancers to both the native and non-native public.
As a descendant of the Mexicah (or more commonly known "Aztec") people,
Martin has dedicated his life to showcasing the beauty and splendor of
his ancestral past to live audiences.
Martin was the tribal dancer for the opening scene of the thriller
movie "The Relic." More recently, Martin was tapped by Marc Anthony and
Jennifer Lopez's new reality show "Q'VIVA The Chosen" to choreograph
and perform a traditional Aztec Dance set with cast members.
Today, Martin directs his own ensemble of traditional Aztec Dancers
based in Los Angeles, California.
