Tuesday night's less-than-stellar Denver auditions on "American Idol" got us thinking -- which city yielded the best talent?
Let's take a look back at which Golden Ticket holders we saw emerge from each city.
Boston: Katie Stevens, Maddy Curtis, Ashley Rodriguez, Leah Laurenti, 32 Golden Tickets.

Chicago: Katelyn Epperly, Charity Vance, Angela Martin, John Park, 13 Golden Tickets.

Notice how none of the Denver names are links? It's because nobody stood out enough for...

They couldn’t come from more different worlds, but dock worker Lloyd Thomas still managed to impress Simon Cowell on tonight’s American Idol.
Lloyd certainly makes good TV, with his big personality and his constant talking and mugging for the camera and he left the judges, well overjoyed, by his performance of Stevie Wonder’s “Overjoyed.”
“It was my favorite audition of the day,” Simon said. “I really really like you. I think you’re a great singer.”
“This guy’s working the docks with that voice,” Kara marveled. “I love that this show lets you come here and do that.”
Guest judge Neil Patrick Harris liked his voice as well, but said, “I need to see you really be as flashy as you are … as a person.”

Last night's round of American Idol auditions saw the panel visit Dallas, as thousands more hopefuls waited for their chance to impress. Joining Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi and Randy Jackson on day one was How I Met Your Mother star Neil Patrick Harris, while Joe Jonas was the guest judge on day two. "My goal is to shatter the dreams of thousands," joked Harris. "If I can make two or three dozen people cry, I feel like I have done my job." The Good... Lloyd Thomas, 29

Dallas was the next stop in "American Idol" audition this week and this city sent out 31 contestants to Hollywood. Neil Patrick Harris sat with Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi, and Randy Jackson on Day 1, replaced by Joe Jonas on the second day.
The judges got a tough contestant early in the audition. Julie Kevelighan tried out in the first season of "American Idol" but was plain bad. She went for a second chance this year but was equally bad. Problem was, she won't stop at singing one song even though the judges have said no several times. Security had to walk her out of the room and once she's out there, she blamed her breathing technique.
After a montage of yes to some women, the first yes to men was given to Lloyd Thomas. The dock worker is looking forward to provide a better living for his two daughters. Singing "Overjoyed...

Neil Patrick Harris made a great guest judge, as did Dallas native Joe Jonas when American Idol went to the Lone Star state in hopes of finding the new Kelly Clarkson. Well, not the most exciting audition show, but there were plenty of sad back-stories and diseases conquered for the contestants to charm the producers with. Wednesday night (January 27), CBS star Neil Patrick Harris and the Jonas Brothers' Joe Jonas sat betwixt Randy the dog and Kara the honey, as Simon chewed on his pen most of the night. Notables: Lloyd Thomas, 29, a dock worker and devoted dad of two girls, smiles for days with a big voice to go with his expansive girth and...

Things couldn't have been much worse in Dallas than they were in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. After all, it's where "American Idol" found first-season winner Kelly Clarkson, so chances were good that more potential winners could be found in Texas on Wednesday night (January 27), when "How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris and the Jonas Brothers' Joe Jonas ponied up to the memorial Paula Abdul guest-judge spot.
Airport dock worker and father of two Lloyd Thomas, 29, continued the cavalcade of smooth-voiced parents taking their shot this year, with a buttery rumble through Stevie Wonder's "Overjoyed," which Simon Cowell loved and Harris liked well enough.
Like the Katy Perry vs. Kara DioGuardi battle on Tuesday night, there was a clear difference of opinion on the panel Wednesday,...
