She entered the film business in 1915 and became a demanded movie actress in Hungary.
With the rise of the sound film ended her film career in the German-speaking countries and she was also not able to continue her career in her native country Hungary.
She was born in a wealthy family and after she finished the school she was forced to marry but the marriage did not last very long. She got divorced and used her freedom to join an education as an actress in Budapest. Soon followed first appearances at different theaters.
She made her film debut with "Romlott emberek közt" (1915), and continued to play in Hungarian movies in the 20s. Beside it she was also able to launch a successful film career in Germany too.
