- Rolf Weih was born on February 8, 1906 in Barmen [now Wuppertal], Germany. He was an actor, known for Rauschende Melodien (1955), Hallo - Sie haben Ihre Frau vergessen (1949) and Wir machen Musik (1942). He was married to Ira Kraut. He died on August 16, 1969 in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany.

- He trained as an engineer and was for some time employed by Siemens in Berlin. Weih subsequently became a cabaret performer, and, from 1927, appeared regularly on stage. He was also a prolific supporting actor and occasional singer in films, often employed as comedy relief and later in Heimatfilms of the 1950's.
- The actor Rolf Weih made his film debut in 1930 with "Liebe und Alltag", but it lasted another six years before he was able to gain a foothold in the film business.
