After announcing last week that The Joker would be coming to MultiVersus when it relaunches on May 28, WB Games and developer Player First Games have released a new gameplay trailer showcasing just what you can do in the platform fighter as the Clown Prince of Crime.
The Joker is classified as a Mage class character in MultiVersus, with a moveset that is “full of diabolical utility”. The Joker (who will be voiced by the iconic Mark Hamill once again) has an arsenal that includes a weaponized pogo stick, spring-loaded boxing gloves, a rocket launcher and more.
And for those who prefer to have a bit of variety in your cosmetics, the trailer also showcases “The Batman Who Laughs” and “The Dark Prince Charming” character costumes for The Joker.

Matt Reeves’ upcoming sequel to “The Batman” may have been delayed to 2026, but fans will still have a chance to revisit his dark version of Gotham City later this year. Reeves is producing “The Penguin,” an upcoming Max spinoff series that sees Colin Farrell reprising his role as the villainous mob boss Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot as he rebuilds his crime operation after the events of “The Batman.”
Farrell’s prosthetic-laden performance as Oz (better known by his criminal alias “The Penguin”) was seen by many as a high point of “The Batman” despite only appearing in a handful of scenes. In a new interview with MovieZine, Farrell teased that the show won’t hold back from exploring the brutality of the character.
“It’s dark, that’s what I can tell you about it,” Farrell said of the series, which hails from showrunner Lauren LeFranc. “It’s really dark. It’s really heavy,...

Although little under two decades have passed, Keanu Reeves’ John Constantine might finally be returning to the big screen! In November 2012, filmmaker Guillermo del Toro signed a deal to create a Justice League Dark film centered around DC Comics’ supernatural characters, including John Constantine. In November 2020, actor Peter Stormare hinted at a sequel being “in the works” via an Instagram post. However, neither Warner Bros. representatives nor Reeves immediately confirmed this.
Then, back in 2023, Francis Lawrence confirmed that he was working on some ideas for the iconic movie with Keanu Reeves but every time they would come up with something concrete the regime at DC studio would change.
“But luckily, we managed to wrangle some control and started working on some ideas for Constantine 2, which we’re really excited about. It’s still the very beginning, as the strike put it on hold for a little bit. So we...

As we learned immediately, there was far more to the Unseen Arkham Prisoner in 2022’s The Batman than the credit would suggest. That prisoner turned out to be none other than The Clown Prince of Crime: The Joker. As briefly depicted in the movie, Barry Keoghan’s Joker gives his own menacing laugh that all but cues up the character for the planned sequel. So, we’ll get the Oscar nominee back in the role that has won two actors statues, right? Not surprisingly, Keoghan is keeping his cards – the joker included – close.
In a recent interview with Canadian outlet CTV, Barry Keoghan was asked how The Joker fits into The Batman sequel. This is met with a giggle before coyly saying, “Um…I can’t really say anything about that, my man, but um…you know…it would be exciting, wouldn’t it, to see The Joker come to life again?...
