She almost auditioned for the role of Juanita de Cordoba in Alfred Hitchcock's Topaz (1969), while she was traveling to the United States. The part was given to Karin Dor.
There is a theater in São Paulo named after her: Theater Eva Wilma. It
was inaugurated on November 14th 2003.
Won Award Contigo! for best actress for her role in the soap "A
Indomada" (1998).
The Tv series where Eva had more success was "Mulher" where she played
a doctor (1996).
In 1994, Eva won the Shell Award, the Sharp Award and the Molière Award for best actress with the play "Querida Mamã", directed by José Wilker, and the João Ribeiro Medal for good services rendered to the Brazilian Culture.

Her theater debut was in the play "Esta Noite É Nossa" (1953) in Teatro

Eva is one of the founders of Teatro de Arena.
Won a São Paulo Governor Award in 1953 for her role in the movie "O
Homem dos Papagaios".
