- It was recently discovered that Barbara Jean Wong was the voice of Judy Barton, one of the twins from the "Cinnamon Bear" series that first appeared on radio in 1937. The annual Christmas story has appeared yearly since then from the day after Thanksgiving for 26 fifteen minute programs leading up to Christmas day.
- As a child actress, she was dubbed "the Chinese Shirley Temple" because her long black hair was styled in ringlets like Temple's.
