- Kenji Yamamoto was born on July 1, 1958 in Japan. He is a composer, known for Choujin Sentai Jetman (1991), Ninja Sentai Kakuranger (1994) and Gosei Sentai Dairanger (1993).
- He was a board member of the Japanese Composer Arranger Association (JCAA).
- On March 9, 2011, Toei Animation publicly acknowledged that many of Yamamoto's musical works have possibly infringed upon unidentified third-party copyrights. As a result, Yamamoto was forced to resign and his compositions were replaced in Dragon Ball Z Kai (2009) and in various video games.
