His books such as "Abschaum" (1997) or "German Amok" (2002) often deal
with the problems of the second and third generation of Turkish
immigrants in Germany.
Studied medicine and arts in Kiel, where he still lives today.
Created an installation of flags called "KanaAttak - The 3rd siege of Vienna",
exhibited at the Kunsthalle in Vienna (2005).
Was awarded a scholarship at the German Academy Rome Villa Massimo, where he lived for one year (2005).
