- [in German, on being asked why Marco Kröger no longer voices Patrick Star in the German dub of SpongeBob] I can't tell you that, that's a private story of his. He had differences with the company. And unfortunately they didn't manage to reach an agreement. And with that he was out, separated from the company, and it was really such a shame because, because he was great, great company. But it's already happened, and, uh, yeah. [in English] The show must go on. [in German] We have to continue. Exactly the same now with our colleague, Eberhard Prüter, who has sadly died, before the recording, before the dubbing of, of the SpongeBob film, and it was a shock for all of us, and, yeah, S... Squidward now has a new voice.
- [on being cast as Ren in the German dub of 'The Ren and Stimpy Show'] Hahaha! Ren and Stimpy! Yes, that's exactly what you say yourself. Of course they were all over the show, had the whole casting and there were a lot of colleagues there in the studio talking about the rehearsal and that's where the feedback came in, so they decided on me and then I had the role.
- [on the challenges of voicing SpongeBob] It's always a lot of fun. It can be a bit exhausting at times, when SpongeBob babbles a lot and has a lot of long passages and speaks very fast, that of course requires a lot of concentration.
- ["Are you married?"] To my job.
- ["How much do you like SpongeBob?"] He's a part of me.
