In all his movies the leading roles was impersonated by his wife, the actress Carmen Cartellieri.
Among others he worked at a method in the color photography with X-rays and other chemical experiments and developments.
He began his professional career as a painter before he finished his study for natural science and worked as a chemist and engineer.
In 1922 Mano Ziffer-Teschenbruck retired from the film business and dedicated to inventions and enhancements.
